Superintendent
At the October 27, 2025, Regular Board Meeting, the School Board of Directors approved Dr. Patrick T. Winters as the Acting Superintendent effective November 12, 2025. Dr. Winters will serve in this role while the Board initiates and conducts a search for the next Superintendent of Schools. He is committed to providing continuity for the district during this time of transition.
Dr. Patrick T. Winters Biography
Dr. Patrick T. Winters joined the Schuylkill Valley School District in July of 2024 as the Chief Education & Operations Officer. He has been serving the district as the Assistant Superintendent since July of 2025. Dr. Winters is proud to be a Panther!
Prior to Schuylkill Valley School District, Dr. Winters spent seven years in Berks County as a senior district-level administrator serving as Assistant Superintendent at the Exeter Township School District and then as Superintendent of the Twin Valley School District. He also has ten years of experience in Lancaster County as a building and district level administrator in the Eastern Lancaster County School District. Dr. Winters has over 25 years of experience as a teacher and administrator over the course of a career that spans time in both North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
