School Board
The Schuylkill Valley School Board includes nine volunteer community members and a 10th member in the SVSD Superintendent.
The district consists of three regions.
- Region 1: Bern Township (Precincts 1 and 3)
- Region 2: Bern Township (Precinct 2), Leesport Borough, and Ontelaunee Township
- Region 3: Centre Township (Precincts 1 and 2) and Centerport Borough
Meetings
The Schuylkill Valley School District's School Board meetings are open to the public and held in the High School Auxiliary Cafeteria, as well as live streamed and available on the Schuylkill Valley SD YouTube Channel.
The agenda is available 24 hours prior to the meeting on BoardDocs.
Board committees generally meet on the third Monday of the month at 6:30 PM. Regular board meetings are generally held on the fourth Monday of the month at 7:00 PM. The live stream starts just before the meeting start time.
Live streamed board meetings are listed on the Schuylkill Valley SD YouTube Channel on the "Live" tab as "[Date of meeting] Schuylkill Valley SD Board Meeting." Click on the meeting you wish to view.
The School Board Committees will also be meeting periodically for scheduled work sessions.
