Student Assistance Program

The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is a framework used to identify students who are experiencing behavior and/or academic difficulties that pose a barrier to their learning and success in school.

SAP offers support to those students and their families. SAP team members have received specialized training from Commonwealth of Pennsylvania-approved SAP training providers and other related continuing education. One of the most important tasks of an SAP team is building a partnership with families and focusing on a student’s success as the common goal. Participation in the Student Assistance Program is voluntary.

The SAP process is confidential and should NOT be used for crises that require immediate attention. For immediate or urgent needs, please call 911, or Holcomb Crisis Intervention at 610-379-2007 or toll-free at 1-888-219-3910.
