Pupil Services
The mission of Pupil Services is to provide the best education to all students regardless of personal circumstances or needs unique to the learner. Our department provides resources and assistance to families to remove as many barriers to a child's education as possible.
Pupil Services encompasses the following student services:
- Enrollment and Registration
- Child Accounting
- Special Education
- Gifted Education
- Provisions per Section 504 of the School Code
- Provisions of McKinney-Vento Act (ECYEH/Homelessness)
- Provisions of Foster Student Placement
- School Counseling Services
- School Health & Nursing Services
- Student Assistance Program (SAP)
- Home Education
Child Accounting
It is the responsibility of each public school district to ensure all students the district is responsible to educate are properly reported to the state. The information the district provides assists the state in qualifying and quantifying the subsidy paid to the district for each student.
