    Welcome Panthers and Guests!

"A book is the only place in which you can examine a fragile thought without breaking it, or explore an explosive idea without fear it will go off in your face. It is one of the few havens remaining where a person's mind can get both provocation and privacy."
    ~Edward P. Morgan

    Library Information
Welcome to the Schuylkill Valley High School Library. It is the place to visit for recreational reading, homework, quiet reflection, and serious research. You are welcome from study hall, lunch, after school, and during Activity Period. We have a  15,000-volume collection of current magazines, fiction, and non-fiction books and it is regularly evaluated for its relevance to the curriculum as well as to the personal interests of adolescents. We also have great wifi. Take advantage of the resources, complete your work, charge your Chromebook, and when you are done, listen to your tunes and read a book or magazine!

    Sincerely,
    Mr. Reed, SVHS Library
    Keep on reading Panthers!
