During my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to teach, chemistry, chemistry II, environmental science, and physical science. I like to blend the use of technology with as many hands on activities as possible to present ecology and life science to the students.

Prior to my teaching career I was a field chemist for GPUNuclear where I was responsible for raw water and wastewater chemistry, environmental applications, power generation water system analysis, hazardous waste monitoring, and various other chemistry activities. I also managed three laboratories (chemical testing, electrical testing, and prototype development laboratories) for a battery manufacture. I earned my bachelor's degree in chemistry and teaching certification from Alvernia University. My wife Patty and I live in the district and our three children attended Schuylkill Valley and went on to further education before beginning their careers. I have coached football in the district at all levels for more than 15 seasons.
