I am a 1990 Muhlenberg High School graduate and a 1994 Shippensburg University graduate.  I am married with two children, Mitchell and Emily.  When I am not teaching and coaching, I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my family (not necessarily in that order).  Entering my 28th year of teaching , I am always amazed at the quality of kids I encounter teaching and coaching here at SV.  We should all be very proud of our students.  They represent us well in the community and beyond.

In my 8th grade classroom, I try to prepare my students for the high school, the PSSAs, the Keystones, but more importantly, for success in the real world.  We will accomplish this task by instituting examples and activities that shows the practical use of such concepts.  This will be accented by discussions during lessons that will answer the question; "where will we use this stuff?"
