• Hello! I'm Ms. Antalosky and this is my first year teaching English at Schuylkill Valley High School. I am so excited to meet you!

I am a graduate of North Schuylkill High School, and West Chester University where I earned my Bachelor's degree in English and Secondary Education. I am the new club advisor for our school's literary magazine, Epiphany, and I will be teaching 10th Grade Honors English and 11th Grade Academic English this year.

In addition to teaching English, my passions include: reading (I have a special love for fiction set in the early 20th century!), writing creatively, spending time with my family and friends, listening to music and going to concerts, cooking and trying new recipes, and traveling around the world.

I am super grateful to become a member of the incredible Panther community and I look forward to a year full of lots of learning, laughter, and growth.

    Some of my favorite quotes:

“For what it’s worth … it’s never too late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit. Start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same. There are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people who have a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you find that you're not, I hope you find the strength to start all over again.” -Eric Roth, screenwriter of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” -J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and The Prizoner of Azkaban

"No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world." -Tom Schulman, screenwriter of Dead Poet's Society

“I was within and without, simultaneously enchanted and repelled by the inexhaustible variety of life.” -F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
