Schuylkill Valley Education Foundation

The Schuylkill Valley Education Foundation (SVEF) exists to fund opportunities and enhance learning experiences for the Schuylkill Valley educational community to cultivate and prepare successful, well-rounded citizens.

The foundation raises funds to

• Invest in opportunities for innovation
• Advocate for technology
• Support experiences
• Provide scholarships

Based on feedback from students and staff, the foundation is building a general fund to support the following initiatives.

• Reenactors – historical figures
• Field Trips – Independence Hall, science centers, etc.
• Walking trail on school grounds
• National teacher conferences
• New playground structures
• Speakers & author visits
• Life stations – find jobs, transportation, housing, cell service, insurance, etc.
• Murals
• Cultural experiences with music and art
• Pottery/painting events for students, transportation provided
