Ms. Leslie Gromis Baker
As a graduate of Schuylkill Valley Class of 1978, Ms. Leslie Gromis Baker participated in field hockey, track, cheerleading, student council, and yearbook. She is also a graduate of the University of Maryland Class of 1982 where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree.
Ms. Gromis Baker then entered politics, working on the 1988 presidential campaign of George H. W. Bush and subsequently serving in the George H. W. Bush White House. She was a member of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge’s senior staff and was the campaign manager for his re-election campaign. She served as campaign advisor for President George W. Bush and Senator John McCain, and was the Chief of Staff to Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett. Ms. Gromis Baker was appointed by President George W. Bush to the American Battle Monuments Commission, which oversaw all American cemeteries and monuments on foreign soil.
Ms. Gromis Baker is the founder of LG Strategies, a political and government affairs consulting firm, and Co-chair and Managing Director of Government Relations for Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney.
