• Principal's Corner

It is an honorJeremy Crills to introduce myself as the new Schuylkill Valley Elementary School Principal.  I am so excited and feel privileged to join the elementary school and this extraordinary school community.  I hope this letter finds you and your family enjoying your summertime together, while also re-energizing for the start of the school year.

I come to the elementary school entering into my twenty-first year in education.  The past four school years I have served as the Assistant Middle School Principal.  Prior to joining SV, as an administrator, I was a Health and Physical Education teacher in the Governor Mifflin School District, Lancaster Lebanon IU 13, and Reading High School.  Throughout the years I have coached at the high school and college levels, including various Schuylkill Valley youth organizations for the past seven years.

My family and I are also a part of the Schuylkill Valley community.  My wife, Coleen, and I, along with our children, have lived in the community for nine years.  At the start of the school year, my son Colby will be entering into seventh grade, my daughter Carly will be entering into fifth grade, and Carson will be entering into Kindergarten.

I look forward to meeting you all, especially the children here at the elementary school.  My goal is to continue on the path of excellence that has been established at the elementary school.  We will also strive to maintain a positive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for all students that enter our school.

Enjoy the remainder of the summer and I look forward to seeing the students’ smiling faces as we start the new school year on August 27th!

    Jeremy Crills

    Elementary Principal
