• Assistant Principal's Corner

It is with great pride and excitement that I welcome everyone to the 2018-2019 school year. I am increasingly grateful to be surrounded by such motivated, intelligent, and caring staff and students. This is my fifth year as the Assistant Principal of Schuylkill Valley Elementary. Prior to this I taught Family and Consumer Science at Schuylkill Valley High School and Middle School. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree and Master of Education at Arcadia University. My administrative certification is from Alvernia University.

As your Assistant Principal it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors- staff, students, and parents are excited to be here. This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. I decided to become a principal because I have always had a strong desire to make a positive impact on an entire school community. I believe that one of the strongest attributes of Schuylkill Valley School District is its community and I will do whatever I can to foster this connection. Mr. Crills and I work closely together to positively influence students’ academic performance and overall school experience. Through a close and collegial partnership with everyone associated with Schuylkill Valley Elementary School I am confident that we can continually make our school a better place to learn and grow, by creating a safe, nurturing environment where students are challenged to think, question, and create.

Please feel free to contact me via phone call, e-mail, or stop in any time to say hello, my door is always open.
