I graduated from La Salle University, where I majored in Special Education (k-12) and General Education (k-6) all while playing DI field hockey.  Right out of college, I received an early hire from Fairfax County Public School District in Virginia.  For the first four years of my teaching career, I taught 5th grade special education at Oak Hill Elementary School in Herndon, VA.  Over the 2013 summer, my husband and I moved back to Pennsylvania to be closer to our family.  I started teaching at Schuylkill Valley Middle school during the 2013-2014 school year.  In addition, I also I'm the head coach of the high school's field hockey program.  In my free time, I love spending time with my husband, daughter, dog, and two cats.  I enjoy traveling and being outside.
